Cranborne Circuit on Sunday hosted its traditional End of Year revival at the sanctuary, drawing to a close a rollercoaster year in some defining fashion.

In a year characterised by another wave of coronavirus variants and the inevitable loss of lives, the church has weathered the storms, persevering in ministry amidst the scourge and the revival served as the perfect way to end the year.

The revival had been preceded by a week of daily convergences at the sanctuary with different preachers illuminating the spiritual atmosphere with timely sermons leading up to Sunday’s event.

Elder Albert Machando opened up with a relatively short but revealing sermon premised on God’s sufficient grace (2 Corinthians 12 vs 7-10).

He then left the flow to Mrs Rosemary Magara who preached on the theme ” A little cloud has risen”.

Conference MUMC music champions Cranborne MUMC were the guest choir for the day with Mr Godfrey Nyarota leading the lirtuigy.

The day saw five members officialy join the circuit permanently, chief amongst them Mrs Paidamoyo Jakachira and his children.

She joins from Mabelreign South Circuit where she was the Stewardship Chairperson with the circuit amongst the top fve best performing circuits in the entire Zimbabwe West Annual Conference in terms of giving in the past Harvest Thanksgiving season.
