CRANBORNE CHURCH MOURNS REV ZAMCHIYA

Cranborne Circuit has joined United Methodists in the Zimbabwe Episcopal Area in mourning the sad passing of Reverend Clara Zamchiya.

Reverend Zamchiya, who was stationed in Masvingo District in the Zimbabwe West Annual Conference, was involved in a fatal accident on her way to a Sunday service at Jerera yesterday morning and died on the spot.

Associate Pastor at Cranborne Circuit, Reverend Noah Chikuni expressed shock at the untimely death of Rev. Zamchiya, describing her as an outstanding, dependable and humble person whose void will be difficult to fill.

Rev Zamchiya is sister to Mrs Mazhara, one of our members at Cranborne Circuit and Cranborners are familiar with her presence as she would frequent our services mostly when she was in Harare.

Mourners are gathered at the Mazhara residence, Number 23 Almaid Road in Braeside. Harare, opposite Braeside Police Camp and very close to Morgan Zintec College.

Funeral arrangements will be finalised as the days progress with early indications at this stage being that the body will be ferried to Harare from Masvingo today with burial tentatively slated for Wednesday in Murewa.

The church indeed expresses its heartfelt sympathies to the Zamchiya and Chibanda families at this difficult time.
