The Zimbabwe East Annual Conference MUMC Music champions Cranborne MUMC Choir will finally launch their much awaited second album titled “Jesu Anotida” on March 9 at Cranborne Church.

The choir recorded the album in November and after a long anxious wait by multitudes of fans, the release is now imminent with a fantastic programme now in place.

Guests performing acts will be in tow to support the event with proceeds of the whole musical project channeled towards the purchasing of a bus that will cater for the needs of the musical powerhouse on their musical sojourns.

The nine track effort is laden with hymnals and sing alongs that have propelled the choir to stardom and recognition, the latest coming at conference level where they clinch a historic first title.

Some of the songs expected on the album are Mumwe ariko Pamusoro, now popularly known as Anotida, Ndakabarwa Mune Dima, Mweya Mutsvene Muri Mwari, Kurunzirwa Misi Yese, Mwari Wakanaka, Kana Ndaona Muchinjiko, Tenzi Ngandifambe Nemi, Toenda Kune Musha wedu and the emotional Padyo Nemi Mwari, dedicated to late music icon Samuel Patrick Machiri.

The news comes as Cranborne prepares to celebrate 30 years in ministry with a gigantic mother of all celebrations on March 31 to be graced by Bishop Eben Nhiwatiwa.

This will be Cranborne MUMC’s second album after their debut project MuKristu Wakanaka.
