Sunday saw the church being led by the 13 -18 age group as the district observed Teen Ministries Sunday.

The normal faces on the front took a resigned role as the teens took charge of proceedings with Ropafadzo Mapenzauswa doing the lirtuigy duties of the day with gusto and verve.

It was quite the family affair with Ropafadzo’s brother Chikomborero giving the first sermon, using the Queen’s language with eloquence as he touched on the power of the tongue.

Nyasha Chieza was next on the podium with his sermon reminding Christians that in our situations God reign forever and is in control.

Shelly Macherenje was the lay leader of the day.

The day was capped with the last Holy Communion of the year, presided by the two resident pastors Rev Dr Machinga and Rev Chikuni, ably assisted by the visiting Rev Archiford Muchingami.
